Global Medics Energy Boost is an energy supplement for horses and was specifically developed to provide more energy to horses that need to make physical efforts, in support of (top) sports performance.

The various B vitamins (B1-thiamine, B2-riboflavin, B3-nicotinamide, B6-pyridoxine and B12-cyanocobalamin) in this dietary supplement contribute to energy metabolism. A lack of just one of these vitamins can compromise a whole range of biochemical reactions required to convert food into physiological energy. And although healthy horses can normally provide for their own B-vitamin needs thanks to a healthy gut flora, there are several indications that horses under stress (for example, during transport to competition) may still experience negative effects on the gut flora from this. Also intoxication with various toxic plants can lead to breakdown of vitamin B1 (thiamine) for example, a vitamin that is also important for having a good appetite.
Global Medics Energy Boost additionally contains Siberian ginseng or also called Eleuthero (Eleutherococcus senticosus), an herb that includes glycosidal saponins (ginsenosides), essential oils and phytosterols that will help reduce oxidative stress during physical exertion, and help strengthen natural resistance.
Global Medics Energy Boost also contains various amino acids, such as glutamine, tyrosine, arginine, beta-alanine etc... For example, supplementation with beta-alanine can increase muscle carnosine levels, which delays (muscle) fatigue by increasing the buffering capacity of the muscle. Finally, this product also contains the electrolyte sodium chloride and glycerin (a high-energy raw material with a sweet taste).
